Assistant Accountant

This newly created role will have a focus on supporting the Head of Accounts in the provision of accounts for a wide variety of clients and ensure a smooth and efficient accounting process. 

This career defining role will involve to assist with following;

• Bookkeeping for various clients on QuickBooks and Xero
• Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable and receivable
• Data entry in MS Excel where records are not maintained in software
• Performing month end reconciliations e.g. Bank, balance sheet etc
• To be part of monthly payroll processing
• Preparing and filing VAT returns
• Preparing and filing CIS returns
• To assist company accountants with preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Corporation tax returns
• Self-assessment returns
• Other ad-hoc duties

Location: London. Added: 01/04/2023. Salary: Salary of £10.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
